About Us
Charlotte McMillan Accommodation is a small business providing a comfortable and cosy stay right in the heart of our beautiful island in Bowmore on the Isle of Islay! Our aim is to provide a relaxing environment for couples, families or friends to enjoy while visiting our famous whisky island! With the perfect location situated in the middle of the island, looking over Lochindaal and just a five minute walk to the famous Bowmore Distillery, you are sure to enjoy what the island has to offer!

Islay as you probably know is famously known for it's malt whisky and is home to 9 distilleries with more to come in the near future!
Situated in the capital of the island in Bowmore, we are very central to the island making it the perfect location for you to explore our beautiful island!
Within 5 minutes of walking distance you have Bowmore Distillery, The Round Church and the famously known 'Luccis Whisky Bar' which is located in the Bowmore Hotel, which holds a very impressive selection of Islay malt whiskies, a must visit if you are a whisky lover!
Heading towards the west of the island you have Bruichladdich Distillery, Kilchoman Distillery and the beautiful beach Machir Bay!
To the north, you will find Bunnahabhain Distillery, Ardnahoe Dsitllery and Caol Ila Distillery! On the way towards these distilleries you will pass through Bridgend which is where you will find the Islay Woollen Mill which has done some very famous work!
Finally then heading to the south of the island there is the Newly re-opened Distillery Port Ellen, Laphroaig Distillery, Lagavulin Distillery and Ardbeg Distillery!
No matter what direction you go, there is plenty to explore!
